Paramount Pictures is developing a reboot of John Woo’s face off from the 1997. The film starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta.

The 1990’s action movie was a little bit of a surprise when I heard about the news today coming out that they were going to reboot face off. In my days I’ve seen a lot of movies a lot more than I’d like to admit but Face Off is one of the movies that I’m just not a big fan of now I’m sure it has its following and I’m sure it will be somewhat of an interesting movie the second time around but why is Hollywood remaking so many movies anymore? From Disney redoing their animated movies into live action to doing older movies from the 1980s and 1990s like face off is Hollywood just running out of ideas? Now I don’t really have the answer to this question but my question is what do you think are tired remakes? Are you looking for more original content?
