Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Men Tell No Tales is the 5th movie in the Disney series.  The returning characters Captain Barbossa and Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow was exciting; and newcomer, Captain Salazar played by Javier Bardem was the greatest villain up to this point in my opinion.  With some other returning characters and some new faces I am going to give the movie a 6 out of 10 and with the surprise ending, you’re sure to want to see it.   Thanks to CGI, we get a glimpse of a young Jack Sparrow and a part of his background story.

With a running time of 2 hours and 9 minutes there were some scenes that seemed  drug  out and the comedy wasn’t there as much as the earlier versions.   Parts of it were also very predictable if you had watched the four previous movies.    But being the fan that I am I was there for the first night but it was a little disappointing that the  movie was pretty much the same as the other four.  All in all if you are a fan of the Pirates and like an entertaining movie you need to go and see this one.
