Venom 2: The Irishman Star Joins Sony Sequel

The Irishman’s Stephen Graham has reportedly become the latest actor to join the cast of Venom 2.

According to Deadline, Graham has boarded the sequel to Sony’s 2018 Spider-Man spinoff in an undisclosed role. He will join Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson, who are all reprising their roles from the first film.

Graham is an English actor that has appeared in a multitude of television shows and films. In addition to Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, he has had roles in Gangs of New York, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Rocketman and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.

The sequel to Venom was confirmed earlier this year. Not long after the confirmation, it was reported that famous motion-capture actor Andy Serkis would serve as director. The film is set to be distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker serving as producers.
