Stephen King appeared on The View and announced some casting for The Stand, He said that James Mardsden and Amber Heard will be playing Stu Redman and Nadine Cross, However Randall Flagg was not on the list so after some digging it has come up that Alexander Skarsgard will be playing Flagg.

Flagg first appeared in Stephen King’s 1978 novel The Stand and has since been in other novels done by King ( The Dark Tower, Hearts of Atlantis) under other names. Alexander Skarsgard is best known for playing Eric Northman in True Blood (2008) and John Clayton in The Leagend of Tarzan (2016).
