Disney Chief Creative Officer Alan Horn revealed that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is planning to release three to four Marvel Cinematic Universe films a year.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Horn sat alongside several other studio executives to discuss their success and process. “Kevin Feige is working away. He will be making three or four a year. And they are very different from one another, so we’ll see,” he teased.
With the studio expanding to television on Disney+, the success it has enjoyed does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. “We started to notice with Avengers it was running out of steam,” Paramount’s Jim Gianopulos joked during the interview.
With the announcement of upcoming films such as The Eternals and Black Widow, as well as sequels to Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home, Feige certainly looks to be hard as work. That, of course, is separate from his work on a mystery Star Wars film that is still in the early stages of development.
